Bubbly Cocktails – Holiday Edition

Chandon Sparkling Red Sangria

  • 2 oz Hennessy Cognac
  • 1 oz Grand Marnier (or any orange liqueur)
  • 1/3 cup Honey Syrup (diluted 1:1 with water)
  • 1 Orange (plus a few slices for glass)
  • 1-2 Lemons (do this to taste)
  • 5 Strawberries, sliced (plus some for your glass 😊)
  • 1 Bottle Chandon Sparkling Red (chilled)
  • 1 cup Sparkling Water
  • Frozen Grapes

Cut your orange into slices leaving a couple out to garnish your glass, with the remaining slices cut off the skin (will keep the sangria from going bitter if left in). Combine remaining ingredients into a pitcher or punch bowl for serving adding lemon juice to taste. Fill your glass with the frozen grapes, strawberries and orange slice and top with the Sangria Mixture!

Cranberry Rosemary Mimosa

Cranberry Rosemary Simple Syrup Ingredients

  • 8oz cranberry
  • 4 sprigs rosemary
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 lemon

Mimosa Ingredients

Cranberry Rosemary Simple Syrup

Orange Juice

Sparkling wine (we recommend a brut)

We made this as a holiday morning treat from left over cranberries and rosemary we had from cooking Thanksgiving dinner. This is the perfect holiday mimosa and a must try! It’s not too sweet and gives you a little savory from the infused rosemary, you guys have to make this – but be warned you can’t just stop at one glass! Honey Roasted Pear Sparkling Cocktail

  • 6 Pears
  • 1/3 cup Honey
  • 1Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
  • Pinch of ground nutmeg
  • 2 Tbsp Apple Juice or Water
  • Pinch of ground cloves
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 Bottle of Sparkling Wine (we used Cava)
  • Brown Sugar + Honey to rim the glasses
  • Thyme for garnish

We made this for the holidays but honestly it would be great anytime of year! It does require a little planning as you need to roast the pears, puree them, and then let them cool, but it’s very easy to make. We chose brut Cava to make this cocktail with and it was SO GOOD! It was dry with a creamy texture, and notes of pear and orange.

Pomegranate Champagne Mule

  • 1/3 cup Pomegranate juice
  • 1/2 Lime (plus some for garnish)
  • 1/4 Grapefruit (plus some for garnish)
  • 1 1/2 oz Vodka
  • 1 tsp Freshly grated ginger (optional)
  • 2 oz Ginger beer
  • Champagne (we used J Cuvee)
  • Pomegranate arils and sugared rosemary for garnish

This is another Half Baked Harvest recipe that we tried recently and it was absolutely delightful 🎉 We added the optional grated ginger into the drink and it gave it a nice spicy kick but I think it would drink sweeter and pull a lot more pomegranate flavor without it added. Be sure to check out HBH’s post on how to properly make and mix this drink, it’s a must try!
