A Bubbly New Year

We don’t know about you but we are SO ready for 2020 to be behind us. We will definitely be celebrating the departure of this year and celebrating a fresh start in 2021 — but to do this we’ll need some bubbly to pop !🍾 In this post we’re rounding out our top picks for New Year’s Eve celebrations 🎉 These are our “you will not be disappointed” bottles to help you give a proper greeting to 2021 😊

RAVA Brut

We tried this is Paso Robles on our trip there this fall and it is now our favorite Brut! RAVA doesn’t sell in retail stores so be sure to visit their website to pick up a bottle or two! This Brut is refreshing and crisp in acidity with small little bubbles that just invigorate your palate.

Chandon Etoilé Rosé

One of our all time favorite sparkling rosé! With notes of plum, raspberry and nutmeg this is the perfect sparkling to enjoy for special occasions. This sparkling is aged for more than 60 months producing the beautiful complexity on your palate and the tiniest little bubbles bursting in your mouth. If you haven’t tried this before, you’re welcome 😉

Dom Pérignon

A classic. There really is no way to go wrong with a classic champs, especially with one like Dom Pérignon. It has a reputation for a reason, this champagne is full bodied and dry and every bit of bubbly your heart desires. The price tag is pricier than any other bottles on the list but the quality makes it worth every last penny.

Juve Y Camps Cava

Have champagne taste but are on a budget – try cava. For the price ($17) this cava is a really great value. It’s dry, crisp, fruity with abundant bubbles. It pairs so well with French fries, so you should probably add those to your menu. Aside from French fries it would also pair well with some cheese.

Dr. Loosen Riesling Sekt Extra Dry

This was the first German sparkling wines (Sekt) I’ve tried. If you like Riesling, you need to give this a try. It’s exactly what you’d imagine Riesling with some bubbles. Which is perfect for the holidays. It’s easy to sip on and has a lower alcohol content.
