Blank Canvas 2019
From: Paso Robles, California
Varietal: Cabernet Sauvignon
Price: $10
This cabernet sauvignon is a surprisingly delicate cabernet. It has a toasty berry nose with lingering vanilla finish. This is super light for this varietal, we used it in a Half Baked Harvest recipe for cranberry braised short ribs and it did not disappoint. We would recommend this as an everyday porch pounder drink option!

Lucien Albrecht Cremant D’Alsace Brut
From: Alsace, France
Price: $20
I can’t get enough of this bubbly! It is so incredible delicious, creamy and bright! I got notes of citrus and crisp apple throughout and the bubbles were so incredibly delicate. This brut was refreshing and light, something I will definitely be buying more of in the future!

Clos St. Antonin Cotes du Rhone 2017
From: Rhone, France
Varietal: Rhone Red Blend
Price: $14
There is always a thrill when you find an under $20 bottle that over delivers in quality. A Rhone blend is 70% Grenach with smaller amounts of Mourvèdre and Syrah this wine is smooth with a rich mouth feel. The palate is fruit forward palate with slight herbal notes. Pour this after a long day to sip on, or pair it with a meal. Either way you can’t go wrong.

Louis Jadot Beaujolais-Villages 2019
From: Burgundy, France
Varietal: Gamay
Price: $13
This wine has a super vibrant nose of cherry and flowers and was bursting with fruit flavors. It was delicate and soft. I usually reach for Riesling to pair with Chinese food, but today I paired this gamay with Chinese food and wow. This might be my new go-to.
If you’ve never tried gamay before but enjoy pinot noir give this one a try!
