A Bubbly Valentine’s Day

As Coco Chanel once said, “I only drink Champagne on two occasions, when I am in love and when I am not.” Whatever side of that divide you’re on, it looks like you should be popping some bubbly this Valentine’s day! We’ve rounded up some great bubbly options whether you’re celebrating with your girls, your significant other, or curling up on the couch with a good movie.

Laurent-Perrier Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature

Champagne is the epitome of celebration and romance. It can definitely be more expensive than American sparkling wine, cava, or prosecco but it’s so worth the splurge! Blanc de Blancs is 100% Chardonnay and it makes the creamiest, most delicious champagne (in my opinion)!

Freixente Cordon Negro Cava Brut

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again – if you have Champagne taste but are on a budget try Cava. They’re affordable and have great flavor profiles.

This sparkling wine is crafted in the methode champenoise or the traditional method of making champagne. It’s fresh, clean and filled with notes of citrus. Perfect for sipping.

Staying in this Valentine’s Day pair this with a good movie and maybe some popcorn!

Billecart-Salmon Brut Reserve

You really can’t go wrong with Champagne, and this is definitely a good choice. This cuvee is made up of 40% Pinot Meunier, 30% Pinot Noir, and 30% Chardonnay. It’s exactly what you’d expect out of a champagne crisp, clean, and lots of fine bubbles. It’s a beautiful golden color, and has fruity notes of pear and green apple with a slight hint of honey. A perfect bottle for a celebration (or just because)!

Bisol Jeio Cuvée Rosé

What’s a Valentine’s day bubbly list without a pink sparkling? This bottle is under $20 and a perfect easy drinker for the holiday.

The Jeio Cuvee Rosé is filled with rose petal aromas and juicy dried cherry and strawberry flavors! Perfect on it’s own or to pair with some chocolate covered strawberries while cuddled up in front of a fire. 🥂

Mionetto Prosecco Brut

I’m not usually the biggest Prosecco fan. I do love it in an aperol spritz, but if I want a glass of bubbly I don’t usually reach for Prosecco. This Mionettoo brut has converted me!

This sparkling wine has an intense fruity bouquet, tastes of apple and pear, and is filled with loads of tiny bubbles. It’s a perfect aperitif!
